We can put 18 go karts on the track at once, so the whole crew can race together. The littlest ones do not miss out either. Our two tandem karts let a grown up take the youngest members of the family for a spin.
We also have a one of a kind Rimo kart converted to hand controls instead of pedals, for anyone with leg mobility barriers. It is the only one in New Zealand, so come and give it a go.
Got 18 or more? Book a team race. Split into teams of 2 to 4 per kart and take turns racing 10 laps at a time until everyone has done 30, 40 or 50 laps. Then the top 5 fastest go head to head in a 10 lap shootout for the win.
Safety first: the track has a purpose built barrier system, and every kart is speed governed by remote control with an emergency stop. Juniors run at a slower speed and must pass a brake test in the pit lane before they head out.
Good to know
- Kids must be 7 years old and 1.2m tall to drive a go kart.
- Tandem kart drivers must be over 18. Passengers ride for $10.
- Team racing needs at least 18 people, minimum age 16.
- Team races take 60 to 90 minutes depending on group size.
